Rope injuries are the leading cause of wakesurfing accidents and can lead to life-changing consequences.
To address this danger, we are excited to introduce the new soft-stretch FLXProtect wakesurf and wakefoil rope.
We have enhanced the "bungee in a rope" concept by incorporating a lower-tension stretch cord within the surf rope designed to retract away from the surfer upon a fall. The FLXProtect rope 24 feet when stretched and automatically 16 feet when not under tension. You may adjust the length as necessary.
For wakefoiling, you can use either the RopePal or attach an additional rope to the FLXProtect. This design allows you to achieve the desired length behind the boat while still enabling rope retraction, thereby making foiling safer.
This is the traditional “RopePal XL Set-Up”.
This set includes a 28-foot XL Reel and an 18-foot second reel designed to manage excess slack, along with a traditional wakesurf rope and a neoprene bag. The combination of one 28-foot reel and one 18-foot reel allows you to slash both sides & control slack by ability to adjust the rope position from the tower to the rear of the boat.
Unlike the RopePal Pro and Jr., which do not include a second reel and use a bungee to reduce slack, this setup offers more flexibility.
